In 2011, Kelly Swingler had been appointed as the UK's youngest HR Director leading a team of 37 HR Pros and in addition to the 'day job' she was a key player in nine projects. Add to this trying to be the best mum possible to her twin sons, wife, daughter, friend and trying to maintain being fit, healthy and happy, in 2013 she reached burnout.
Six years later she's still living with some of the consequences but has dedicated a lot of her time over the past five years to researching stress and burnout and in addition to her HR qualifications has qualified as a Psychotherapist, Hypnotherapist and trained in Neuroscience to help spread the word about how to avoid burnout before it's too late. She's also the author of 'What's Your Excuse For Not Overcoming Stress' in addition to a number of HR books as well as being featured on BBC and SKY.
