Whether they're fed up with the gender wage gap or seeking jobs with more flexibility, increasingly women are forging their own way. Data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics shows women make up 34 per cent of all small business operators (668,670 women). This represents a 46 per cent increase during the past two decades.
